There’s no point in beating around the bush: If you are accused of a crime under the UCMJ you need representation, and you need it fast. No, these investigators, like their supervisors, and like senior military commanders are under tremendous pressure from Senators, Congressmen, the worldwide media and even from Hollywood to root out bad actors in the military, splash their faces all over the news, and send them to Leavenworth.  These investigators and their bosses don’t care about you or your version of the events. Military investigators are rewarded for conducting investigations that lead to convictions, not for clearing people. Military investigators will build a complete, solid case that can strip you of your rank, your retirement, and your liberty. And these investigators will do all of this before you are ever assigned military defense counsel.
