For the past eleven years, Drew has devoted his practice to helping veterans navigate the VA appeals process and get the benefits they deserve. Drew is a highly respected, well versed, and dedicated advocate for veterans who seek representation for veteran’s disability claims or compensation under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). As a retired Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) and a veteran of six overseas tours, Drew understands the struggles that veterans face and his training, education, and experience are essential to ensuring that each veteran is recognized for their service and dedication.

Background
In 1979, Drew graduated from the United States Military Academy, West Point NY. Following graduation, Drew served on active duty for twenty years before retiring in 2009. During his career, Drew served with the XVIII ABN Corps, Second Infantry Division, Tenth Mountain Division, and Third Army. Drew’s deployments include Haiti, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, and the United Arab Emirates.
After his retirement, Drew attended law school at the Georgia State University College of Law where he graduated cum laude and he now serves as Adjunct professor at Emory University’s College of Law, teaching veterans disability law. Drew is the Director of Emory Law’s Volunteer Clinic for Veterans. In 2010, the State Bar of Georgia, Military and Veterans Section awarded Drew the prestigious Marshall-Tuttle Award for his outstanding legal services to veterans. Drew is accredited to practice before the VA. He is the past chairman of the Military and Veterans Section of the State Bar of Georgia, and he is a member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates.
Drew is licensed to practice law in the United States Supreme Court, US Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, Supreme Court of Georgia, and the Court of Appeals for the state of Georgia. Drew is licensed to practice law in all military courts.
