Alexa is a dedicated and skilled military practitioner who has represented Service Members from all five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces since 2013 in an array of legal matters. Alexa’s practice specializes in all administrative aspects of military law, including but not limited to administrative separation boards, discharge review boards, boards for correction of military records, grade determination review boards, and other adverse administrative proceedings in the military. Alexa is also a highly skilled military divorce practitioner. She is adept at representing clients in complex military divorce cases involving pension division and valuation, Survivor Benefit Plan mechanics and valuation techniques and interim support under military regulations.

Background
Alexa was born in Poughkeepsie, New York and moved to Georgia in February 1996. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Alexa received her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law. While attending Georgia State, she was a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association where she was able to practice and learn litigation skills by competing in multiple competitions including the National Trial Competition in Charlotte, North Carolina and National Trial Advocacy Competition at Michigan State University. Alexa was also a member of the Georgia State Moot Court Team where she competed in the Emory Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Competition and the Prince Evidence Competition at the Brooklyn Law School.
Alexa is a member of the State of Georgia Bar Association, Georgia Family Law Section, Georgia Young Lawyers Division, DeKalb County Bar Association, and Alexa is licensed to practice in all military courts.
